Founded in 2008 BR Gun Supply, formerly known as Black Rifle, started with a small location in Columbia Missouri as an outlet store for local Missouri based firearms manufacturer CMMG. With a focus on customer service and competitive pricing, Black Rifle quickly grew beyond an outlet into a well rounded gun store.
2013 - Black Rifle moves to a new location at Parkade Plaza in Columbia, MO. Offering a larger, cleaner layout, the Parkade location of Black Rifle was described by some as a flagship/destination gun store in Columbia as well as the central Missouri area.

2018 - Black Rifle relocates west of Columbia to Boonville, right off of I-70, continuing to serve the people of Mid-Missouri with small town hospitality.
2023 - Beginning February of 2023 the Black Rifle name was changed to BR Gun Supply, paying homage to the founding name of the company while acknowledging BR Gun Supply's wide selection of firearms, parts, ammo, and gear beyond just America's favorite rifle, the AR15. The new retail storefront opens at 2201 Boonslick Dr. Boonville, MO across from Wal-Mart.
At the end of October 2023, the new BR Gun Supply website launches at www.brgunsupply.com. Providing a cleaner look and streamlined shopping experience for customers with online ammo sales now available through BR Gun Supply's sister company Ammosale.com.
